A few days ago, good news came one after another in the hydrogen energy industry of the 718th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Corporation.
After more than 30 days and nights of continuous hard work by technicians, as the various indicators of the equipment reached the acceptance standards, the hydropower and hydrogen production equipment with a gas output of 250m³ per hour at the Yunnan project site of a well-known monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic enterprise in July 18 was successfully debugged at one time. In this project, the hydrogen produced by the water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment is used to reduce the oxygen produced in the process of drawing monocrystalline silicon from polycrystalline silicon, so as to improve the quality of monocrystalline silicon products and improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of photovoltaic modules. In the past three years, 718 Research Institute has supplied 7 sets (sets) of water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment to the customer. The equipment is of excellent quality and stable operation. The hydrogen produced has high purity and few impurities, which has been highly recognized by the owner.
The containerized water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment produced by 718 for a new energy enterprise in Shandong has recently completed the factory inspection and was shipped to the project site as soon as possible. This project is a key project supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology in the field of hydrogen energy photovoltaic coupling research. It converts surplus electric energy into hydrogen energy through water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, and consumes surplus electricity from surrounding new energy power stations and power grids, providing an excellent demonstration for alleviating the burden on the power grid system.

The coupled utilization of hydrogen and renewable energy is an important way to achieve green carbon reduction. The 718 Institute will, as always, give full play to its technological and industrial advantages in the field of hydrogen energy, and develop and produce more hydrogen production equipment and products that meet market demand. Power to promote low-carbon energy transformation.
