On September 28, in the factory area of Bosch Auto Parts (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. located in Changyang Street, Suzhou Industrial Park, Du Gancheng, the relevant person in charge of the company, calculated a "low carbon account" for the reporter: Since 2018, the company has actively implemented energy conservation and environmental protection The renovation project, through the air-conditioning process exhaust and runner heat recovery, warehouse LED replacement, distributed photovoltaic power generation, etc., by the end of 2020, this large-scale factory with an annual carbon emission of more than 76,000 tons achieved the carbon neutrality goal.

As the world's leading technology supplier, Bosch Group adheres to the development concept of taking into account the three aspects of business operation, environmental development and social interests. In recent years, it has focused on the protection of climate, energy and water resources, and is committed to sustainable development. Walking into the Bosch Suzhou factory, a seven-story parking building with a unique shape caught the reporter's attention. While the parking building is equipped with an intelligent parking system, the large-area photovoltaic panels covered on the top shine in the sun, thus obtaining the "" "The Light of Changyang Street". Stepping into the factory area, camphor, peach trees, cherry blossoms and red maple can be seen everywhere, making people feel relaxed and happy. The office area adheres to the environmental protection and simplicity style, and shows "low carbon" everywhere. According to reports, in general buildings, ventilation and air conditioning account for up to 20-30% of energy consumption. In Bosch, workshops and offices are equipped with fresh air systems and heat recovery systems, which can ensure sufficient fresh air volume and low energy consumption, and reduce excess heat emitted to the atmosphere.

In addition to the "photovoltaic power generation parking lot", there are also many distributed photovoltaic power generation facilities in the factory area, which can generate about 2,500 MWh of self-generated electricity every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by more than 1,500 tons. According to Du Gancheng, companies mainly use four paths to achieve carbon neutrality. The first is to improve energy efficiency and reduce the use of energy from the source; the second is to expand the use of renewable energy; the third is to purchase green electricity; finally, for the inevitable carbon dioxide emissions, choose to invest in high-quality environmental protection projects such as purchasing carbon sink to offset inevitable carbon emissions. Through efforts, Bosch Suzhou achieved carbon neutrality by the end of 2020. Reducing energy consumption has always been the direction of the Bosch Group's efforts. To this end, Bosch has built an energy management platform in the factory to use the collected production and equipment data to shut down unnecessary equipment in time, reduce equipment standby time, and reduce energy consumption through optimized management. Bosch Suzhou focuses on energy efficiency improvement in terms of eliminating energy waste, improving energy efficiency of equipment and facilities, applying new energy technologies, and energy data management platform.

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the economic indicators and energy output rate of Suzhou Industrial Park showed positive growth, the carbon emission intensity (CO2 emission per unit of GDP) showed a steady decline, and the total carbon emission and economic growth showed a relative decoupling state. Suzhou Industrial Park Wu Qide, director of the Pollution Prevention and Control Division of the Ecological Environment Bureau of the park, introduced that in recent years, the park has made a number of explorations in reducing pollution and carbon emissions, and continues to tap the potential of enterprises to reduce pollution and reduce carbon through capital guidance, source control and technical guidance.” In the next stage, the industrial park will further promote the coordinated emission reduction of atmospheric pollutants and greenhouse gases, pay more attention to the control of pollution sources and systematic governance, and strive to create a green park with blue sky and white clouds and a low-carbon cycle. "Wu Qide said.
