Is coming! The 14th Five-year Plan for Renewable Energy Development was released

On June 1, nine departments including the National Development and Reform Commission jointly released the 14th Five-year Renewable Energy Development Plan, in which hydrogen energy pointed out:


1. Promote the development of photovoltaic sand control, hydrogen production from renewable energy and multi-energy complementarity, and build integrated facilities for conversion and utilization of Marine energy, energy storage, hydrogen production, seawater desalination and other energy resources.


2. Promote large-scale hydrogen production and utilization of renewable energy, promote comprehensive utilization of rural renewable energy, and take multiple measures to improve the utilization level of renewable energy.


3. In areas where conditions permit, direct power supply of new energy, coupled solar hydrogen storage, flexible load and other technologies shall be utilized.


4. Promote large-scale hydrogen production using renewable energy. To carry out large-scale demonstration of hydrogen production from renewable energy, promote the industrial development of hydrogen production from renewable energy generation and build large-scale green hydrogen production bases in areas with low cost of renewable energy generation and favorable development conditions for hydrogen energy storage and transportation industries. We will promote green hydrogen substitution in key sectors such as chemical industry, coal mine and transportation. We will promote the demonstration application of fuel cells in industrial and mining areas, port areas, ships and key industrial parks, coordinate the construction of green hydrogen terminal supply facilities and capacity, and increase the proportion of green hydrogen used in transportation. In areas rich in renewable energy resources and with a good foundation of modern coal chemical industry or petrochemical industry, emphasis should be placed on green hydrogen substitution in energy chemical industry bases. Actively explore the alternative application of hydrogen in metallurgy and chemical industry to reduce fossil energy consumption in metallurgy and chemical industry.


5. Innovate the utilization of renewable energy, and carry out large-scale off-grid hydrogen production demonstration and grid-connected solar hydrogen production demonstration. Efforts will be made to tackle key issues in cutting-edge technologies and core technologies and equipment for renewable energy. Breakthroughs have been made in key technologies of electrohydrolytic hydrogen production equipment suitable for flexible hydrogen production of renewable energy sources, and research and development of high energy density energy storage technologies such as reserved sodium ion batteries, liquid metal batteries, solid lithium ion batteries, metal air batteries, and lithium sulfur batteries. Promote innovation and breakthrough of large capacity wind turbines; Make breakthroughs in key technologies of the whole industrial chain such as pretreatment, digestion and utilization of bio-natural gas raw materials; Promote the development of new electrolytic water equipment suitable for renewable energy hydrogen production; We will accelerate the development of new energy storage devices with large capacity, high density, high safety and low cost.


5. 6. Smart water bottle We will increase support for energy r&d and innovation platforms, focusing on renewable energy, new power systems, large-scale energy storage, hydrogen energy and other technologies.
