The two-day Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition was successfully concluded at the Sydney International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Sydney, Australia on 26th -27th October. Dr Tong Cui, R&D Director of CPU, delivered a keynote speech on "Current Status and Application of Alkaline Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Unit in Hydrogen Value Chain", giving a professional insight on the current status of the hydrogen industry and its future trends. At the same time, the highly integrated hydrogen production system independently developed and produced by Hibernia Hydrogen will be demonstrated, helping Australia and the world to efficiently produce green hydrogen in the energy transition.
The Asia Pacific Hydrogen Summit and Exhibition is Australia's leading professional hydrogen event, designed to promote the hydrogen energy industry. The conference revealed a number of hydrogen projects in Australia, including the planned Central Queensland Hydrogen Hub (CQ-H2) project, for which a front-end engineering and design (FEED) study commenced in May this year, with an investment decision expected by the end of 2024.
Australia has abundant wind resources, coupled with hydrogen energy will be able to effectively solve the energy bottleneck problem, providing a new impetus for future economic development. During the exhibition, CPU demonstrated the CPUH2-200/1.0-C container hydrogen production system with a design pressure of 1.0Mpa and an hourly production capacity of 200m³ under standard atmospheric pressure, and carried out in-depth exchanges with the relevant enterprises in Australia to further expand the international market.
As a high-profile hydrogen equipment supplier in the field of hydrogen energy, CPU has long been focusing on the research and development and industrialisation of alkaline (ALK) electrolytic water hydrogen production systems.2021, we were awarded the "Carbon Neutral Green Brand Influence Co-construction Unit", which is an affirmation of our contribution to the promotion of the development of green energy.2022, we have successfully launched the 1400-square-meter hydrogen production system independently developed and manufactured by us. In 2022, we successfully launched our self-developed 1,400 standard cubic metre hydrogen production system, which was tested and put into production in Xing'anmeng, Inner Mongolia.
At present, we have signed co-operation agreements with a number of energy companies to jointly promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry. In addition, our brand new production base of nearly 40,000 square metres was officially put into operation in autumn this year, further expanding our production capacity to 1GW. This development will further enhance our competitiveness in the hydrogen energy sector and contribute more to the promotion of global energy transformation.
